| Centrair is the first airport in Japan designated as an Integrated Bonded Area.
With approaches over water, transport of large cargo is also available.
|

An Integrated Bonded Area is established as a customs bonded area system for the areas where trading facilities are integrated. It is managed by a corporate body that satisfies requirements of the law.
In a facility in the Integrated Bonded Area, operations such as unloading, disposal, storage, processing and distribution of cargo can be undertaken before customs procedures, with the cargo remaining in bond (with no customs duties or consumption taxes being applied). Therefore, because the goods in this area bypass customs procedures, this facility speeds cargo delivery while cutting cargo transport costs. Moreover, the application of customs duties and consumption taxes to the cargo is suspended until the cargo leaves the area.
|
Transport road for large cargo between the port of airport island and airside apron is secured.
Centrair provides sea and air combined transport of oversized or overweight cargo unavailable to public roads.
