Total international cargo handling floor space in Centrair cargo area is 440,000 square meters and its annual handling capacity is 600,000 metric ton.

F1 machines arrived at Centrair
Formula 1 racing machines were transported by 6 chartered freighters to Centrair for Japan Grand Prix which will be held at Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka on September 29 and 30. Japan GP Festa 2007 in Centrair is held at Passenger Terminal Building of Centrair, from September 25 to October 1.

Expansion of cargo apron
Expansion of cargo apron has been done and went into its operation on Jul 5th. The expansion includes installation of 3 aircraft stands for large-sized aircraft. This enables to handle 3 large-sized aircraft at once. (Expanded area : 30,688 meter square)

First Transportation of B787 Aircraft Parts Started
Boeing 747 LCF (Large Cargo Freighter) first flight took off from Centrair to Seattle at 16:30 on Friday, 12 January.
The B747 LCF is specially modified airplane to transport the wings and fuselage parts of B787, next-generation mid-sized airplane currently under development.
The state-of-the-art B787 will be scheduled to deliver to All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL), and to enter service in 2008.

Beaujolais nouveau has arrived at Centrair.
The new Beaujolais has arrived at Centrair. On the third Thursday of November each year the new Beaujolais is officially released. This year, 16th November is the day. The new Beaujolais will be transported to Centrair one after another by regular flights and chartered flights.
