Autumn Light-Up Night at the Higashiyama Zoo
The fall light-up festival at the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens near Nagoya (a 15-minute subway ride) was an amazing sight. The festival displayed over 500 maple trees in a variety of fall colors under lights on a walking path around the zoo garden. Even in the rain, the leaves were beautiful! It is sad that the Autumn Light-Up Night is now over for the year, but you can still see the autumn leaves and animals!
