Toyota Kaikan Museum is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. It is only a five-minute walk from the Toyota Motor Corporation headquarter building. The museum exhibits the history of the world famous car maker and the evolution of automobile engines and their manufacturing process over the years. It also features state-of-the-art technologies as well as the next generation of automobiles.
On the second floor, there is a shop that sells car-themed souvenirs. You can also go to Toyota Motomachi Plant and have a factory tour if you are coming in a group of 15 people or more. (Reservation is required.)
You don't have to be a car lover to enjoy the place! Try out a driving simulation or see how it feels like to sit in a futuristic car model. You can watch Toyota Partner Robot play the violin, too! There are three chances to listen to the performance, all in the morning, so don't miss it!
