Korankei is located in the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, which is one of the most popular places for autumn leaves. Korankei is a valley that runs around Mount Iimori, and you can find more than 4,000 maple trees along the Korankei. These maple trees were planted by the head priest of Kojakuji in the 17th century. Mid-to-late November is the best time to enjoy the colorful landscape. The trees near the Taigetsukyo Bridge are illuminated at night until the end of November.
