Thank you for making this Chubu Trip Photo Contest a success!
Travelling around Nagoya and Nagashima was an exciting experience. My photo encapsulates what I discovered during this trip. It was taken at Nabana no Sato in Nagashima, Mie, Japan. These lights are actually some of the 1.2 million light bulbs that come together to form a 200 meter long corridor of dazzling beauty.
Walking through the corridor of lights is a breathtaking experience. Upon closer inspection, though, visitors will find that these lights are, in fact, not merely light bulbs, but that each is perfectly shaped as a flower with dainty petals.
Japan is similar. It is incredibly beautiful on the surface, but it takes time to uncover its hidden jewels, and once you do, you will be rewarded several times over.
Welcome to Japan!
