Maharaja Nagoya

Japan Travel - Nagoya, Chubu
Posted on January 20, 2016
This is one of the finest Indian Restaurants in Nagoya, where you get a chance to taste India's famous curry and rice. You have a great variety of options available, from vegetable curry to chicken and mutton curry. The restaurant is famous for its tandoori prawns and lamb chops made in traditional clay ovens. Vegans should try the special starters, namely onion pakoda and masala papad, which are very delicious. During lunch time, there are even lunch sets available at a reasonable cost, ranging from 1,500 yen to 3,000 yen. The place is nicely decorated, with Bollywood songs playing in the background. It is usually crowded during weekends, and a reservation beforehand will save a lot of time. Maharaja is a derived from the sanskrit word "maharajah," meaning "great king," and the service provided by the staff makes you feel like a king.
