Mt. Fuji

The altitude of Mt. Fuji is 3776m and it is the highest mountain in Japan. It is regarded as the symbol of Japan. It has attracted many people, both Japanese and foreigners, with its beautiful landscape. It is situated on the borders of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. Famous local foods are Fujinomiya Yakisoba (Fujinomiya fried noodles), Houto (Japanese style soup with meat and vegetables), and more.
