Chubu Centrair International Airport joins the member of prestigious 5-Star Airports

On February 17, 2017, the 5-Star Regional Airport rating was awarded to Chubu Centrair International Airport, the main international gateway for the central region of Japan. The day of the award marked the 12th anniversary of the regional airport’s opening.
The 5-Star Airport rating is given to airports recognized as providing excellent facilities for customers and the highest-quality airport staff service. The rating system, operated by Skytrax *1, an international air transport rating agency based in Britain, analyzes about 500 airport service evaluation items of each airport.
Currently, six international hub airports *2 operating in each country’s capital area have obtained the 5-Star Airport status. Chubu Centrair International Airport becomes one of the first 5-Star Regional Airports *3, announced by Skytrax in February 2017.
All staff persons at Chubu Centrair International Airport are determined to do even more to provide the highest quality service to customers and increase their satisfaction.
