About quarantine:
If you enter from the following countries, you will need to wait 14 days at a location designated by the quarantine station and you cannot use public transportation in Japan.
(1) China (including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR)
(2) South Korea
Each airline has a contact center as well as other ways of inquiry such as an inquiry form or a chat service. Please check your airline website for more information.
Medical masks, N95 medical masks, goggles, protective clothing, etc. can be carried on board and in the checked baggage (checked at the counter). Disinfectants containing alcohol (including hand-washing gels, antibacterial sheets, rubbing alcohol etc.) are allowed in carry-on baggage and checked baggage, as long as they follow the sizes of the liquid restrictions .
