Do you want to try the famous Echizen crab and see spectacular cliffs along the coast? Visit Tojinbo, where you can taste delicious crab dishes and enjoy seeing the 25-meter-tall, one-kilometer-long cliffs. The rocks in Tojinbo are named according to their shapes, such as Sandan Rocks (three-layer rocks), Rosoku Rocks (candle rocks), Byobu Rocks (wind wall rocks), and Oike (big lake). Tojinbo is also popular for its Echizen crab, and you can find many restaurants serving crab dishes. Remember that female crab is called “Seiko” and male crab is called “Zuwai” in Fukui.
★Access: Take the Keifuku bus (40 minutes) from JR Awaraonsen Station or from Mikuniminato Station.
