About the acquisition of an international certification for infectious disease control

Chubu Centrair is implementing various measures against infectious diseases following the guidelines of the aviation industry and other authorities with the purpose of provide a safety space that travelers can use with peace of mind. The airport has been evaluated and certified by the "Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) Program" conducted by the International Airports Council (ACI).
This program evaluates the implementation status of 122 safety items such as disinfecting facilities, ensuring social distance, employees' use of masks, and measures against infectious diseases. It is an international certification that has been obtained by more than 200 airports (being Chubu Centrair the third airport in Japan).
Chubu Centrair will continue to work on infectious disease countermeasures in cooperation with other airport operators and international organizations to be a safe and secure place for travelers. We ask for you cooperation following indications such as wearing a mask during your time at the airport.
