Notice of postponement

The international triathlon tournament “Iron Man 70.3 Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan” scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 will be postponed following the new measures agaist the novel coronavirus infections.
The 5150 Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan and Iron Kids Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan events will also be postponed.
Currently, we are coordinating with the related organizations to reschedule the triathlon for this autumn. Please check the official website of "Iron Man 70.3 Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan" for alternative dates and details.

“IRONMAN 70.3 Centrair Chita Peninsula Japan” will be held yet again this year!
This international triathlon competition has been held since 2010 with the patronage of Tokoname City and
Chubu International Airport for the purpose of promoting sports, sightseeing and breathing new life into the region.
In recent years, athletes not only from Japan but from more than 30 countries have gathered here to take part in the race.

■ Event Venue
Chita City, Tokoname City, Handa City, Aichi Pref. JAPAN

■ Course overview
・SWIM (1.9km)
The stage for the SWIM course is the beach closest to Nagoya, Shinmaiko Marine Park in Chita City.
The race is divided into age categories and starts from the beach to head towards the sea.

・BIKE (90.1km)
The course runs from the coastal area of Chita City to the land area of Chita City, Tokoname City, and Handa City.
It is a varied course that goes from the coast to the countryside.
The endpoint of the BIKE course is the Handa Sports Park located in the hills of Handa City.

・RUN (21.1km)
The course is planned to unfold in rural areas in the southern part of Tokoname city and cross a seawall along the sea.
It will offer a variety of locations and beautiful scenery.
The finish line is at seaside NTP Marina Rinku Rinku, in Tokoname City.
