Information concerning redirected flights from Kansai International Airport

Due to the closure of Kansai International Airport’s runway and road caused by the damage of Typhoon Jebi some of Kansai Airport’s flights have been redirected to Central Japan International Airport. Here you can find the access and other important information for redirected flight travelers.

ACCESS INFORMATION

Central Japan International Airport – Nagoya Station

From Nagoya Station
the airport is easily accessible with Meitetsu Train. If you arrived by Shinkansen bullet train or Kintetsu Train please go to Meitetsu Nagoya Station or Meitetsu Bus Center located in the Sakuradori Side of Nagoya Station.

To Nagoya Station
from Central Japan International Airport, please follow the signs upon arrival to the airport’s train and bus station. You will arrive to Meitetsu Nagoya Station or Meitetsu Bus Station, for Shinkanshen bullet train please go to Nagoya Station following the signs.

Take Meitetsu train from Centrair to Nagoya station. Transfer to the Shinkansen at Nagoya station and get off at Shin-Osaka station. The trip takes 50 minutes and costs about JPY5,830. JR Nagoya Station access

When you arrive at Nagoya station, take the Taikodori exit and ride the highway bus at the JR Tokai Bus Terminal. It takes about 3 and half hours and costs about JPY2,400. JR Tokai Bus

To Osaka from Centrair: transfer from the bus to the train at Yokkaichi.
Highway: From Kintetsu Yokkaichi station to Centrair

How to get to the Tokoname AEON

The AEON Mall Tokoname shopping mall is just one train stop from the Central International Airport. Take the Kintetsu local train at the airport and get off the train at Rinku Tokoname Station.
