Hakuba-Goryu Ski Resort
Having 15 courses on three slopes, this resort has the season's earliest opening in the Hakuba area and also lets skiers enjoy the sport into May. After dark you can also enjoy one of the area's largest night slopes.

Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park
This boasts a popular snow park and a wide range of different-size courses.
Recommended among them is the Tree Riding Zone (prior instruction required), where you can experience for yourself skiing on virgin snow. -
Hakuba Happo-one Ski Resort
This Japanese skiing mecca was also the site of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games.
One of its biggest attractions is that here skiers can enjoy cruising long runs of up to 8,000 meters. -
Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort
The expansive scale and deep snowfall make the slopes here popular among a wide cross-section of skiers.
A 4,000-meter aerial-tramway lift gives skier access to long cruising on 5-kilometer runs. -
