World Cosplay Summit Memorial Mosaic Art

Chubu Centrair has given a wall in the airport to support the World Cosplay Summit, the world’s biggest international cosplay contest, that had always filled the streets of Nagoya with amazing cosplayers and provided a fun space for anime/manga fans.

Last year’s international contest had to be cancelled due to the spread of COVID19. To overcome this situation and hold 2021 edition, World Cosplay Summit began a crowdfunding campaign. The mosaic portraits the pictures of the patrons who participated in last year crowdfunding campaign. The base illustration depicts Oasis 21, a peculiar commercial building that has been used as the main venue for the World Cosplay Summit.
