Chubu Centrair International Airport has once again been awarded the prestigious “5-Star Airport” rating in the Regional Airport category of the World Airport Star Rating by the UK-based SKYTRAX.
The rating is determined based on the results of on-site audits conducted by professional airline industry inspectors, covering more than 500 evaluation items. Centrair received continued high recognition for its “excellent staff service” and “cleanliness and overall maintenance of facilities.”
In addition, improvements in the expansion of charging facilities, which had previously been pointed out as an issue in the post-security area of Terminal 1, were highly evaluated. Renovation work has been underway since 2025, with some areas in the domestic section already completed. By September 2026, charging facilities will be fully available throughout all post-security areas of Terminal 1.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our passengers, and together as “Team Centrair,” we will continue to make daily improvements and strive to deliver even greater satisfaction.
